I created this blog to write about things that are on my mind, and also to keep people in the loop of what I’m up to. Just so everyone knows, nothing I write will be me yearning for attention or looking for people to feel bad for me and give me sympathy. So, if I write something that’s somewhat sad, I wrote it because typing about certain stories makes me feel better, and because it gives people a glimpse into the things going on in my head, and it gives people a better understanding of my motives and how I function.

I do not write because I want people to say, “Awww, poor Travis.” I’m not one of these people that posts everything they do on Facebook just for the sake of getting other people to notice them. I write for me, and I write because there are some people out there that want to know what I’m up to and that want to read what I have to say….as stupid as that sounds. Some people might be thinking, “So you think you’re that special that people will care about your life?” The answer is no. I don’t think I’m that special. But, a small handful of people will want to keep tabs on me.

So, that is what this blog page is all about. The domain name “travolutionblog” is pretty stupid as well. I started this blog a year ago because I was getting tired of politics in Madison. Now, this blog has evolved into something different, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of changing the domain name.
